The Flash opened up this week with Barry continuing to train Kid Flash to get faster and learning more about his speedster abilities. The CCPD are investigating a decomposing body that Barry and Julian take to Star Labs to do further research. It is revealed that it was the work of a dangerous new meta-human, Clive Yorkin, who is one of Alchemy’s husks and he is now going after people that hurt him in the Flashpoint Universe.
Julian Mendez ends up as one of Yorkin’s victims as his Flashpoint version was the captain of CCPD. Yorkin then goes after Joe during a family gathering with his kids, Barry as well as Cecile and her daughter who is visiting. Wally changes into Kid Flash and uses his super-speed to throw Yorkin across the room by creating a vortex. Back at Star Labs, the team decides to finally tell Joe the big secret about Iris’ death that will happen in May. Joe gets upset with the team and leaves. Later when Iris is trying to get a hold of him, Yorkin breaks into her home, with Kid Flash showing up a minute after him. While Kid Flash tries to stop him, Yorkin manages to touch Iris for a second which starts to infect her. Back at Star Labs, the team gets Caitlin to use her powers to freeze Iris’ arm in order to save her.
However the more Caitlin uses her abilities, the Killer Frost inside of her starts to come out, but Julian manages to get Caitlin back in control. As the team tries to figure out how to stop Yorkin, H.R. and Cisco comes up with the idea to vibe the Flashpoint Universe to learn more about the new baddie. They discover that another CCPD officer, Stone, is Yorkin’s next target and Joe heads to the train station to protect her. When Yorkin starts destroying the support beams that the train is on, Flash and Kid Flash shows up as Barry starts phasing the entire train so that it doesn’t run into the rubble. Kid Flash takes on Yorkin as he finally manages to phase and gets some of his own blood inside of Yorkin.
At the end of the episode, as Wally is practicing his phasing abilities, Jesse Quick shows up from Earth-2 and asks for help: her father has been taken by Gorilla Grodd.
