Arrow had a strong kick-off last week as Oliver Queen decided to bring together a new version of his team to help him protect Star City from new evil, but that was easier said than done in this week’s episode. While he was briefly introduced last week, “The Recruits” gave us a better introduction to Rick Gonzalez’s Rene Ramirez a.k.a. Wild Dog, who butted heads with Oliver more than once and will most likely do so again.
Evelyn Sharp is also one of the new members, who got introduced last season as she posed as Black Canary after Laurel Lance passed away, and now Oliver is taking the teenage orphan under his wings. Given how big the responsibility is to be a protector of Star City, Oliver doesn’t hold back on the new members. While Oliver was busy with training his new members, we see what Diggle is up to in Latvia as his military operation came with one unexpected surprise that puts Diggle in big trouble.
Given how packed “The Recruits” was, we have a lot to breakdown so hit the next button below and let’s go through some of the highlights and important moments of the Arrow Season 5 episode: “The Recruits”
