‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ 2.01 ”Out Of Time” Review: Reuniting The Legends

Legends of Tomorrow rounded out the new DC TV season as they kicked off their second season with the time traveling legends being scattered in different time periods. It’s discovered by the show’s newest character, Dr. Nate Heywood (played by Nick Zano) who discovers that the legends had been scattered through history. He reaches out to Star City’s own Emerald Archer, Oliver Queen and together they discover the Waverider at the bottom of the ocean.

Luckily for them, Heatwave is the only one left in the ship and he gave the full story on what happened to his group. It’s revealed that Rex Tyler/Hourman, who showed up in the Season 1 finale, had warned the legends to not go to New York, 1942. Through a long story told by Mick, we learn that Rip Hunter was forced to send the legends out to individual time periods as that were the only way to keep them safe.
